A little slice of heaven

The cottage was truly one of the nicest rentals we have found in the area. The house was exceptionally clean, welcoming(fresh baked cookies), beautifully decorated and had all the ammenties that one would need. This was our semi-annual girls/mothers/wives retreat. We could not have asked for a more peaceful or relaxing enviroment. Thank you for pampering us! We definetly hope to return again in the fall. The owners are really terrific people who are great to work with. Easily accesible and very prompt with response to any questions. Again....thanks for sharing your cottage with us!

Truly elegant destination

The cottage is truly elegant and the perfect destination for anyone hoping to retreat from daily life.

Tom and Christen are absolutely delightful, welcoming and have thought of everything that you will need during your stay. The cottage has a rich artistic history and you feel the amount of time and love that has gone into making it the perfect vacation spot.

We will surely return in the warmer months!

This place is awesome!

Tom and Christen were so awesome to work with regarding staying at their cottage! This place is awesome! The decor makes you feel like you are in an artist's house or on a movie set- its absolutely spotless and they provided everything we needed and more.

I recommend a stay at the cottage to a family or a couple for a romantic get away- it emcompasses both elements of fun and comfort.

Makes me realize I really need to decorate my own home with a little more attention! - thanks again guys and hopefully we will get to meet you next time we come visit!

A Great Find

This review is titled after the commendation I received from my huband upon our return from our weekend stay at Beechwood Cottage. High praise considering his communication style. The cottage manages to be both spacious and cozy at the same time. It excels in important (to me) details, such as climate control, quiet surroundings, comfortable beds, clean and nice bathrooms, big soft thirsty bath towels, a kitchen well lit and well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, etc. And it is nice to have the owners right next door and clearly concerned for us to have a good stay.

We can't thank you enough!

I just wanted to tell you how much we appreciate your helpfulness and hospitality. Your cottage is lovely, we all wish we had been entirely snowed in, and 'forced' to stay away from New York longer.

From the cookies awaiting us to a delicious breakfast recommendation, everything was cozy and perfect.

Perfect Weekend

We chose the Beechwood Cottage as a way to to extend our weekend Steelers Game into a relaxing getaway. We are so very thankful we did. The cottage is pristine and beautifully unique. The local town was like a scene from a movie. The dining tips Tom and Christen provided were wonderful: one of a kind and delicious. One of the best weekends we've had: enjoying the cottage, and the local town/scenery. Absolutely beautiful and charming.

Weekend in Paradise

I chose the cottage as a "surprise" anniversary getaway for my wife and I, and we could not have been happier with the accommodations, history, and tranquility of this place. Thanks so much for truly memorable and relaxing weekend, the cookies, the insight into the creator of the artwork throughout, and for making us feel at home. So nice to have met you Tom, and we hope to return-soon.

Great home in the woods.

I stayed with a few colleagues while working in the area. I am so glad we chose the cottage. None of my coworkers had any local hotel rooms that were as comfortable as the Beechwood cottage. The master bathroom is very nice and clean. But it does lack a conventional shower which makes morning prepping take a bit longer. I would return without hesitation.

I wanted to point out for folks reading the customer comments: There are two full bathrooms in Beechwood Cottage...the master bath has a bathtub with hand-held shower while the second bathroom has a large standard style ceramic-tiled shower.

A great place for a small getaway!

We had a wonderful time in the cottage, it was clean and inviting. We loved finding all the little bits of personality in the home.
We used the cottage as a meeting place for old friends and found ourselves not wanting to leave! Thanks for a memorable place to stay. Very glad we chose your place over a boring hotel!! We all plan on coming back soon!!

Terrific place to stay
